Texas is in a serious drought and fireworks were banned in our county. :(

Well what are you to do on the 4th of July in Texas when there are no fireworks allowed? Pool party and BBQ with good friends of course. :) We went to our good friends the Dunn's and had a fun evening swimming and eating too much food. There was a good turn out - we had so much fun we didn't even think about the fireworks we were missing out on. Anywhoo last weekend was so much fun! I hope you all had an amazing 4th.

Well such I have been such a slacker on this blog and have so much catching up to do I will start with the baby shower I threw yesterday. Two of my really good friends out here are both having another baby and they due 2 or so days apart. So what better what to celebrate babies than a blue and red, yummy food and no games baby shower??? I hosted the shower at my house (first time ever). I learned a lot about throwing parties through out this experience. Here are a couple pictures of the event that I was able to snap after running around with my head cut off. :)

I have been so crazy busy this last month with photo shoots, editing and card designing that I almost forgot to make my families Christmas card. Since we have ~~sadly~~ don't have any babies to showcase I will just post the Carter card my mom ~~begged~~ asked me to make. :) I will be coming home on the 18th of December and will be home for a couple weeks. I can't wait to see all my amazing family and friends faces! I hope ya'll have an amazing Christmas and New Years.

I have so much to post about.........Kauai, Birthdays, weddings, ect. But for now I want the world to meet the newest member of our household, Phoebe. {yes I brought her in the studio to take pics, I don't have kids yet so I need something to occupy my time with}

She is perfect and just what two busy people like my hubs and I need. She is a 7 year old Maltepoo who is sweet as a button. She loves kids and seems to love us and her new home. We love her and if you met her you would lover her too! Just ask M......... I think she likes her?

I have so much to blog about for the last couple months, but I just wanted to make a note on how perfect yesterday was. We had the family over to watch conference, eat diner, decorate for fall and make cupcakes. The weather is cooling down and now I am realizing why I agreed to move to Texas. I hope you all had an amazing Sunday. Mom- I know its been 3 months, but look at the pretty table you bought me for my birthday. :) I finally found one I love and S wanted to show it off! I know it's been ages since I have posted, but I am one busy girl! Since my last post I have been to California on 4 separate occasions, Utah, Colorado and NYC. I guess I am quite the traveler these days...... man is it exhausting! Not to mention I miss my husband, my house, our kids (okay Meg and Aaron's kids) and my life! Anywhoo I am coming to UTAH, so get excited!

Utah Peeps........Mini sessions will be held on October 16th (Location undetermined). The flyer will be posted this weekend. I think this is the only time I will be in town until Christmas :( The session costs $125 (for 4 people each additional person is $25) and includes a CD with print release form, 20 minutes of shooting time, editing of your pictures, (3) 5 x 7's of your choice and a Christmas card design. I am booking quickly so please email, call, facebook or text me if you’re interested.

Last weekend our BFF's the Garner's came out for a visit. It happened that Nate had some training in Dallas that week so they decided to drive down (or up, who the freak knows which way is which without any mountains???) and see us for the weekend. We are so glad they did, we sure did miss them. We only had 2 nights and one day with them so we tried to make it as fun as possible with a toddler.

We swam at our amazing pool (I think Becks would agree)!

We had an earlier dinner at the famous Oasis Restaurant. Our waiter said this restaurant is the third biggest restaurant in the world. Nick and I loved it, I see us going back often!

The View was amazing!

Of course I had to snap some pics of Beckham in his sweet rain boots! Our porch is now my favorite spot to take pics the lighting is money!

Then we took them downtown to see the BATS! Austin is famous for millions of bats living under a bridge, it's pretty cool when they all come out at night.

Don't worry, they didn't meet any of our neighbors! I just thought I would share some of the bugs I've found outside of our house!

My Dad turned 56 yesterday! I just wanted to wish him an amazing birthday and tell him how much I love him. Dad I miss you and can't wait to see you soon! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

China!

No we are not going or moving to China (even though Nick ~~begs~~ asks me daily)! Since moving into a place of our own, I have been able to open up a wedding present (over three years old, dusting away in a box) that just makes me smile.

When we were registering for items we needed once married I laughed at my mom when she told me I must register for China.

1) My grandma Lois has about 5 sets of China, if I wanted China I would go pick up here's.

2) Who my age uses china these days????

I decided not to put up a fight and just found the most beautiful China and scanned it, thinking to myself, "who in their right mind would buy us such an expensive wedding gift?" Well...........my moms friend (work, whom I've never met in my entire life) graciously purchased the China and wrote the most beautiful card. I was seriously blown away when I received the package. I almost started crying (I know I am lame). I told myself that I wanted the China to be safe so I just left it in the box and when we moved somewhere with space I would bust it out. Well as you can imagine with the new house and all I couldn't be more ecstatic!

Here is our China! Isn't it beautiful???? I see many fancy dinners hosted at the Shreeve home just so this beautiful China can be used!

It is a good thing when your husband grabs you, looks you in the eye and says.........."let's do some shopping!" And so we did :) We bought a couch, love seat, over sized chair and ottoman (some items shown below) and a King size (we have been sleeping on a queen and I am sooooo stoked to upgrade) bedroom set also shown below! I am so excited for them to be delivered :)

Eclipse

Erin and I went to Eclipse with three other gals last night. This movie was fabulous! Hands down better than the other two combined (in fact I was not a fan of the other two, but I was because I loved the books so much)! I felt like a 17 year old girl swooning over Taylor's hotness, he was shirtless about 98% of the movie (hey if I looked that good I would be too)! Seriously he looked way good, so did Robert (didn't think so in the other movies AT ALL) and can I please ask who is on team RILEY? That guy is a hottie, he should have been cast as Edward (like I said a 17yr old me)! I loved it and I am planning on going again soon!

I am so excited to move into this house I can't even stand it. Many woman would be excited for the over sized beautiful kitchen, the double vanity sinks/ huge garden tub/ rain shower head in the bath room or maybe the gigantic closet. Not this girl! All I wanted was a big swirly door and I refused to buy a house that wouldn't negotiate it. There is no way that I was forking out $3000 for one (even though Nick says we are still probably paying for it, hehehe).

I am completely obsessed! Well I am off to Utah this afternoon (the hubs is already there) and I am so excited to see my family and friends. It will be a quick trip (wedding, 4 mini-sessions, cafe-rio, catching up with friends and fathers day) and I am looking forward to it. We get home on Sunday and then on Monday we close on our first home. Sorry our new house and the cute nieces and nephews are all I blog about, but that's whats going on out here in Austin! Check out our new door!

On June 6, 2007 I married my favorite man in the world / love of my life and have never looked back. I love Nick for so many reasons and I am so glad he picked me to be his wife. I look forward to growing old with this man and I cannot wait to see what our future holds.

Nick and I had a fabulous laid back anniversary weekend. Nick and I have been so busy with work, the house and life that we needed a stay-cation in our great city of Austin. We were gifted a night at the Austin Hyatt Regency by my amazing mama. So on Saturday afternoon our adventure started. We decided to head to Verizon and make our move official and get (512) numbers. I sent out a mass text, but I guess a few of my numbers didn't transfer over so if you didn't get the text let me know. Anyhoo, we went to Red Robin for some burgers (FYI: the TX. burger is soooooo amazing). We then went to the hotel and checked in and immediately headed for the pool. The pool was amazing and had the most incredible view. We spent to whole afternoon sunbathing and swimming that we didn't even realize how fried we got (can you sat Tomato RED?) We then got dazzled (ok I did, Nick just got dressed) and headed off to dinner.

We went to the most amazing Brizilian Grill called Estância Churrascaria (Similar to Rodizio Grill and Fogo De Chao) we stuffed oursleves with all sorts of delicious exotic meats. Nick and I went to the movie theater and saw nothing worth while to spend our mula on, so we went to the mall. Nick found a place that makes his beloved Pearl drinks and I got some yummy creamery ice cream. Well my friends that's how these lovebirds spent their 3 year anniversary.

Has been so much FUN already. We went swimming on Friday, went furniture shopping (yes that's right and it was Nick's idea, shocking right?), swimming, pizza and games with the Nydegger's on Saturday and well....... Easter 2010

I am aware that Easter was so long ago and I am not sure why its taken forever to post these pics (we have been busy living life I guess). On Saturday (the day before Easter) the neighborhood has a huge Easter egg hunt. I am talking tons of kids, tons of food and one heck of a good time. The kiddos (the nieces and nephews) had a blast and were on quite the sugar high for the next couple of days. :) Then on Sunday we went over to Meg and Aaron's (Aaron was out of town visiting his BFF). Meg and I made some delicious food for Nick and the kids and enjoyed a beautiful Easter weekend. PS we loved conference! Here are some pics of the neighborhood party, enjoy!

On Friday we (Nick and I) had a Birthday party for these two girls pictures below. Mom and dad were out celebrating their 10yr anniversary so we had a No Parents allowed Birthday Party! There were presents, pizza, cupcakes and bubbles. It was a blast, we were exhausted by the time we got home!

Super Quick Trip HOME

Well all I can say is even though I was home for 3 days and 3 nights, I squeezed in a lot with little sleep and it was a blast. It all started on Thursday night when I went to see my sweet nephew Vincent (who was the proud winner of the mini session everyone was voting for :) thank you so much if you did actually vote) and gave him lots of kisses. Then I was off to my beloved dollar movie (so sad there is no dollar theater in Texas) with Brittany (who I adore and miss) on the way out to the car I found my diet coke spilled all into my purse and well my blackberry was drowned and broken. I came home at around midnight and my dear chocolate lab was more than happy to see me (I may or may not have let him sleep with me).

Then the next morning I was off to meet BFF Tori and my no-related-by blood :) niece Sadie for lunch at Cafe Rio (oh how we have missed you, I had to take pics so Nick could reminisce) then to Day break to get my hair did, I am now back to being blonder and loving it (Please note pictures below are prior to doing my hair). Then I did two three mini-sessions at the beach and then checked out the new Temple. Off to Verizon to try and sweet talk them into a new phone for FREE! Well.......... my sweet talking worked and I was granted a new phone for FREE and it's perfect. Then back to Tori's and we went to the What Women Want Show, some In-and-Out and some much needed talking, laughing and catching up with my BFF. After getting home I sat up till 2 am and caught up with my mama (man I miss her).

On Saturday it was picture day. 4 mini-sessions at wheeler farm (might I add were scheduled perfectly) then off to downtown where I spent the whole afternoon with an amazing couple doing their engagements (the whole reason I was in town in the first place). Later that night we (Britt, Casey, Morgan and myself) saw the Last Song (sorry I was sneezing so bad ladies, the allergies were killing me). Anywhoo it was an amazing quick trip and I will be back in June for round two. Enjoy some pics from the weekend. PS I love Sadie if you can't tell!

When I married Nick almost three years ago, I had no idea what I was getting into becoming an instant aunt. I know now after a couple months of being around this wild child what being a aunt truly means. I love this girl as much as I would my own child. She lights up my life and I feel this way about all our other nieces and nephews, but this girl this little stinker turned 2 today. I just wanted to give her a little shout out about how much she has changed our lives and made us more than excited to have children of our own, soon! :)

I have some serious obsessions these days! Because Nick gets home very late from work these days (it's busy season for those TAX nerdos) I need to find ways to pass the time!

They include:

Mog Podge - seriously it's best stuff ever! I took a crappy frame and used some amazing wrapping paper left over from one of my bridal shower gifts (cause I am seriously obsessed with Damask)and mog podged it on the fame and.......

Tada! I love it and it's holding Nick and I's engagement picture we sent out with our wedding announcements! So pretty sentimental with the wrapping paper and picture! (I know I'm lame, but it looks great on my desk at work)

Etsy - This store has it all! I go through it like three times a day. You can always find something great and unique for the right price.

Babies - I am so baby hungry it's not even funny! It doesn't help that I am now surrounded by 5 of the cutest kids ever! Babies are everywhere these days and I just want to eat them up they are so dang cute. I want one NOW and so does Nick :) you know what that means, soon enough we might be blessed with one! (PS I am not announcing anything so don't get the wrong idea MOM we are just thinking the time is coming soon!)

Damask - Damask - Damask : I love it, I see something with Damask I have to have it or improvise.............. See this beautiful chair below..... Well I didn't feel like paying $250+ dollars for it and it wasn't quite what I want until we get a house so.....................

I went to Garden Ridge (this store, needs a whole post of its own which I will do when I go there next week) You Utah peeps will die it has everything..... Anywhoo I bought a chair cushion in the material pictured below and it works fabulously. I also bought a matching accent pillow for our bed so they now coordinate since our desk and chair are next to our bed! For a grand total of $30.00........ yes Nick you have trained your wife to be frugal (kind of, I am still working on it).

Coke Zero - I have a can of this refreshing drink with lunch almost every day! Nick and I finally agree on one beverage and I am so happy it's this one stocked in our refrigerator!

Adobe Photoshop CS4 - I could edit pictures all day and be content if I don't have anything to take pictures of (another reason why I need a baby) you can find me at my computer editing pictures. Seriously the possibilities are endless with this software!

Avocado Egg Rolls - They should really call these better than sex! They are so dang good! Much better than that cake, but hey I would choose avocado over chocolate any day!

24 - This is my first season watching it and I am seriously hooked! (Thank you Meg and Aaron for introducing me)

Ikea Black Frames - I want three of them and I am thinking of filling them with some pictures that I took of the temple or pictures from our wedding day! Did you know that I haven't printed out one picture from our actual wedding? I seriously need to get on that! (almost three years later)

Cadbury mini eggs - I said before I would take avocados over chocolate! Ya that doesn't in any way mean that I don't eat chocolate! These are too good for words!

The Knifty Knitter - You can make the cutest things with these looms! They are so user friendly (thank you Amy for introducing me)and for me it's necessary. I also have started really crocheting on my own (I will show some of my work soon). Its pretty relaxing, Nick calls me an old lady, but I enjoy it (my grandma would be very proud) while we are watching TV!

Spring - Spring is almost over here in Texas and soon it will be hot hot hot! It's so nice to have it early, Spring here in Texas is beautiful and the weather that accompanies Spring is just blissful. I wasn't too sure what kind of Spring we would be having!

Our Pool - We live literally 30 feet away from this baby! Yes I have been swimming 3 times already (don't be jealous, just jump on a plane and you can be tanning in no time at all). The pool is open all year long. This is the number one benefit for me of living the apartment life!

The Nikon D-90 - Last but not even close to least, my baby! You are all thinking how could you even compare this piece of machinery to a baby? Well until I have a baby I will never know, but right now this is the closest thing I have. It's very delicate and when I hand my baby over to someone so I can be in the picture, I watch them like a hawk. In my mind I think...... If this person drops my baby I will kill them (OK not kill them, but inflict some serious pain) :)! I love love love my camera. I learn something new every day through the lens of this baby. Nick and the Nikon have a love hate relationship! He LoVes that it makes me happy and him some extra green in the pocket, but hates when I point it anywhere in his vicinity (I am praying this will change when we have a baby). He says that I miss out on things when I take pictures...... well he's so wrong! I see things clearer and in a different light when I am behind that camera. It has taught me that beauty and art are truly everywhere! It is truly my happy place when I am taking pictures!

Crazy Traffic

Austin has really bad Traffic! That is my main compliant about our move thus far. (I took these pictures while waiting in Traffic on my way home) Since Nick never checks our blog he can't be mad that I could have killed myself while snapping away on the freeway. But the city of Austin is seriously breathtaking so its not that bad of a view when you are sitting in Traffic.

So my sweet hubby has been working some serious late hours (1:00 am last night). So on the weekends we make up for lost time. With the amazing weather we have been experiencing (84 degrees +) we have been doing some serious adventuring to see what this great city has to offer. We also have been going to soccer games and playing with some friends and their supper cute babies. These pictures explain everything (ps Shae I am loving loving loving my new lens). Also, mama Shreeve (aka Nicks mom) is coming in tonight and we can't wait to see her and watch our nieces and nephews soak in their sweet Grammy!

Obsessed

OK well just putting it out there that I am completely and utterly obsessed/ addicted with the Bachelor this season (OK every season). Every Tuesday I sit down when I get home from work and watch it from start to finish (Thank you DVR and thank you no commercials). But tonight Monday I will be watching commercials and all.

For you out there that haven't been partaking in this sick addiction that I have I will give you the run down.

This is Jake. Jake (the Bachelor) is one of the cheesiest, cutest, hottest (you do see his abs throughout the season), nicest, needs a woman to love and spoil type of a person. He is also a pilot (hence the cheesy picture below)

This sweet man has made a terrible decision by keeping this girl (even though he was warned numerous times by other girls)! Her name is Vienna (just an FYI this was one of my #1 baby girl names, however not so much loving it as I now hate this girl). Vienna from day one has been hated by everyone in the house, she is obsessed with Jake. She has a lazy eye, talks like she's retarded, has the worst bleached hair, nappy extensions, but on a positive note she looks amazing in a bikini. She's been married before and states she's never really been in love? Clearly the girl has issues! Any who here is her picture, please note you can tell how manipulative and evil this girl looks!

Then there is Tenley. As quoted by some fellow girls in the re-cap show "The woman tell all" they say, "she sh*ts rainbows" "she dreams in cartoons" or "she's straight out of a Disney movie". If these comments are the worst things people can say about someone, I mean come on. She's practically perfect, she's just as cheesy as Jake and need to be treated well (she was cheated on by ex-hubby). She is perfect for Jake and if he doesn't pick her I give up on this supper lame show (that I love love love so much). As you can probably tell Jake has fallen for two totally different woman and if he knows whats best for him he will pick Tenley. But hey she would always make a perfect Bachelorette (if they make Vienna the next one I will send ABC hate mail, on a side note I would also love to see Gia as the next bachelorette). Yesterday the hubster and I headed to the Melting Pot, for some fine dining fondue experience. Other then the not so great service it hit the spot. So last night was the first time in my life I didn't get a picture of the event (Nick was so upset). I stayed home sick from work today I have one of the worst cold of all time! But when we aren't working life in Austin consists of the pictures below and we love it!

It all starts with our monthly girls get-together. The month of December was all Brook's. We had a blast with the white elephant gifts and the catching up. I can't even express how sad I am that I will only be able to go to these when I am in town! I miss all my girls so much and thanks Brooke for hosting!

When Nick Graduated from BYU with his Masters we celebrated in Vegas by attending the Vegas Bowl! Where Nick's beloved Cougars kicked some serious butt! It was a short and sweet trip before the holidays!

Then we got home did some shopping and then it was Christmas EVE which we were fortunate enough to spend with the Carter side! Everyone was there and it was a blast.

After a long Christmas EVE we woke up and went to Jan's house and celebrated with the Shreeve side. After a wonderful breakfast and lots of gift opening we went to Steve's house where we enjoyed more family and the wonderful lunch buffet Suzanne prepared. Then we were headed of home to the Carter's. We opened gifts and ate an amazing Prime rib dinner and after dinner when we went to clean our dishes is were the excitement started. My moms beautiful Modern Display center piece went up in flames. My brother caught it out the corner of his eye and informed the rest of us. My dad jumped faster then I've ever seen grabbed the fire extinguisher and took control of the situation. After that we couldn't help, but laugh (except my dad he didn't think it was that funny, it was a Christmas to remember!

After Christmas and before we moved we had our last game night with our Besties! Bid farewell to Sadie and Tori and had a family Brunch at La Caille (minus my dad he went hunting in Montana).

Then the day came and we set off to start our lives in Austin, TX. We drove for 24hrs over 2 days. All I have to say is it was totally worth it we are enjoying our time so far, loved the warm weather (68 degrees plus, the first couple of days we were here) and love our family that we now are so close to! Literally until I get a job you will most likely find me at there beautiful home most likely holding our new nephew or chasing after the kids! We love our life!

Tomorrow my best friend and I start a new life/ adventure/ chapter in Texas. We are driving 24 hours with our sweet father in law. Wish us luck! I have mixed emotions, but mainly I'm excited! We will be back to Utah often to visit, me will miss all of our dear friends and Family!

We have been so busy and time is flying! We had an amazing Thanksgiving dinner at Nick's moms house this year. I did the black Friday thing (hence the computer in the previous post). Nick's so busy with studying for finals, but on the weekends we play (with the Garners and Morgans). Nick's BFF Clay and his wife Kim just welcomed their baby girl Ellie to the world and for our November girls night I attended a baby shower for Talisha (who just had baby Beckham yesterday). I've been busy with photo sessions and Christmas cards. Well that's about how its going down in the Shreeve town! Here are some pics from the last few weeks.

Well my sweet husband let me invest in a super "BLACK FRIDAY" deal! I can now edit my pics in a blink of an eye and I have enough storage space to last me a lifetime, not to mention its beautiful and the screen is HUGE!

However, this brand new baby has Windows 7! I love windows 7 its fast and easy to use. EXCEPT the damn software I have for my old faithful USB wirless adapter is not reading with the windows 7?

Is anyone computer savey, have a husband, relative, friend that knows how to handle these dilemmas? Please let me know, provide phone numbers what ever, I just need help PLEASE?

So lately I've had lots of baby births going on in my life. I was blessed with a sweet new nephew on Friday (born in the front seat of a car, that's another story/ post) and so I've been doing some serious gift buying! Fall is here and the leaves are almost gone! Where does the time go? Soon we will be in Texas and not able to drive 2 minutes and enjoy the glorious mountains. I love the mountains! As many of you know over the last year we were blessed to live and take care of this sweet man. A couple weeks ago the family placed him in a home and last Saturday he passed away. We were so blessed to know him and so fortunate to have the fabulous living situation. Luckily a couple days before they put Oral in a home I was able to snap some shots of him! We will miss you Oral and never forget you.

Oral Bryan Birch "Our Hero" Oral Birch, another member of the "Greatest Generation", left us on September 26, 2009.He was born in Bingham Canyon on February 23, 1924 to Cora Obray and J. Byron Birch. He lived most of his life in Sandy, Utah graduating from Jordan High in 1942. He was attending the U. of U. when World War II interrupted his life. He joined the Army Air Corps and began his training as a B-17 navigator. He and his childhood sweetheart, Marian Mazanis, were married at the Santa Anna Army Base July 31, 1943, later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. When Oral received his overseas assignment Marian returned to Utah. He was assigned to the 398th bomber squadron in England. On his 17th mission his plane was shot down and he became a Prisoner of War in Germany. He received many decorations for his service, including the Purple Heart. He returned to Sandy to raise his family: Kathy (Robert Damjanovich), Ken (Suzie), Robyn (Dennis Mansfield), Bryan (Callie), and Jim (Shelley). He has 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is a member of the LDS Church and served the Lord all his life. He was the Bishop of the Sandy Second Ward for many years and worked in the Washington D.C. Temple and the South Jordan Temple. He loved the Boy Scouts and was a leader and great example to many young men. Oral graduated from the U of U in Civil Engineering. He worked for the BLM in Cedar City, the Bureau of Reclamation in Salt Lake and Washington, D.C. He was the Chief of the Land Acquisition Branch and involved in the Central Utah Water Project. After retiring he went to work as a consultant for Western Area Power Association. He was active in the community of Sandy and a founding member of the Sandy Jaycees. He met monthly with his friends from the Sandy "Old Timers" Club for over 50 years. He loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and his favorite spot was his Cabin at Strawberry. He loved sports, attending all of his grand children's games and Jordan High athletic events. In 1999 he was honored as the state's 5A Fan of the Year. Oral loved to tell stories of his family pioneers and old Sandy. He shared his experiences from the war with school children and adult audiences all over the state. He was honored at many military gatherings. Oral has always been an example of hard work and strong ideals. During the last few years of Marian's life he cared for her with great devotion. He was a man of his word and a true gentleman. His friends and family will gather for a viewing at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St., Thursday, October 1st , 6-8 p.m. and Friday at the Sandy Hillcrest 9th Ward, 915 East Peach Blossom Dr. (9100 S). from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Funeral services will follow starting at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.

Well as you all know NICK was in Austin, Tx. for more than 8 weeks doing a summer internship with Ernst & Young. I was lucky enough to get work off and go out there to see my cute Nieces/Nephew, celebrate our birthdays, go shopping, swimming, check out Austin, LOVE my hubby and take a million PICTURES (you know how I roll)!

I sure do, I loved getting my hair/ nails done, picking out the perfect dress and shoes. Well these guys are dressed to the nine. My cousin Shelby and her friend went to Alta's Prom and my other cousins Casey and Jonathan went to Feast & Ball (which is the equivalent of Prom at the charter school they attend). And since those charter schools charge lots of money for pics I just did theirs for a fraction of the price. They were cracking me up!

1. I was dancing my country girls heart out.
2. So today Nick headed to Austin, TX. to start his 8 week internship with Ernst & Young. I am sure going to miss him :( I will be going out there in the middle of it so hopefully that will ease the length of not seeing him. So we got some sweet new phones to send lots of texts, pics, and videos.

And this was the first pic I sent him. (pic taken with the blackberry storm, not bad quality might I add!!)

Well the story is....... a lady that I work with lives on a farm. She tells us she sees tons of these spiders around her yard even though she sprays for them. Well I've never seen one, so I asked her to bring one into work. The next day i come in and have two glass jars on my desk. So I look in them and sure enough there are two freaking black widows (in separate jars). So me being bored at work I decided they need to be in the same jar. We put them together and watched them fight. Kinda scary cause they are fast little suckers. But eventually the big one wrapped the other one up into a ball and spun a web around him in like 30 seconds. It was sooo cool (I know I'm easily entertained) You don't see this stuff on Discovery channel. Anyways this is what you do when your bored and your hubby is gone :(

We went shopping in the outlets, ate at the best steak house, Ruth's Chris {my favorite}, we went hot-tubbing/ swimming and spent the night up there. It was so nice to get away and out of the house. Big things are happening in The Shreeve Family!

On Friday May 8, 2009 we were blessed with a beautiful nephew!
His name is Clark Ryan Cartwright and he's perfect!

AND........Bryson Proposed to DK and they are getting married in late August! I love them, they are two of the nicest people ever! I am so excited to get another sister in law! For more pics of Bryson and DK (CLICK HERE)

We just want our moms to know how much we appreciate they've done for us over the years and how much we loves you guys!

On another note...............

For mothers day, my sweet CTR 5 class sang so so so good to their moms in sacrament meeting at church. Not going to lie they sang the loudest out of everyone. I was seriously so so proud of them. They were so cute, they were singing so loud (maybe to some you would say screaming the words. The whole ward was laughing/ crying because it was so dang cute.

WICKED

These are my favorite scenes!

This is the second time I've seen it, the first time I was in New York with my BFF Tori and boy did we fall in love. So i just had to see it again and after alot of ticket hunting and paying way too much money. I was able to go last night with my boss and loved every second of it!

Don't worry for the last 2 months I have been jamming out to the soundtrack in my car for preparation!

OH YA we may or may not have gone to MELTING POT! :)

Every year we get together with Nick's moms side of the family for an annual Easter picnic. The turn out is always great and the conversation is even better. This year we had to take it indoors (due to the nasty weather)so we had it in the cultural hall of a church. It still was so much fun and of course there was an Easter egg hunt for the little ones. The girls will eat way way way way to much fondue! On Sat. while the boys where at the Priesthood session all the Shreeve ladies, minus Meg :( and adding DK (Bryson's lady, most likely my soon to be sis-in-law) got together to play games and eat some yummy fondue. We had white chocolate, Carmel, cheese and the melting pots yummy broth. We had so many yummy dippers, it was so fun and I am thinking that this is going to be a new tradition! We also played phase 10 (aka: go into labor game, sorry rob. next time we play it needs to be closer to your due date :)) I love phase 10 and I'm actually pretty lucky at this game! Plus my sister in law is due in less than a month and I just adore how much my sweet niece Lily adores her belly!
